Vision Environmental Solutions wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technology, keyboard navigation or screen readers.
1. Our accessibility goal
We aim to meet the AA success criteria of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 where practical, in line with the standards adopted for this website's rebuild.
2. What we've built in
- Semantic HTML landmarks and heading structure on every page;
- Keyboard-operable navigation menus, forms and interactive components;
- Visible focus states on interactive elements;
- Descriptive alt text on meaningful images, and empty alt text on purely decorative images;
- Text and background colour combinations chosen for readable contrast; and
- Page titles and breadcrumb navigation that reflect where you are on the site.
3. Known limitations
This website is under active development. Some pages — including newer service, rebate and location pages — are still being reviewed for full accessibility compliance as content is finalised. If you find a page that is difficult to use with a keyboard or assistive technology, please let us know using the details below.
